Absolutely! Catnip isn’t mandatory in toys. Look for phrases like “catnip-free” or “for sensitive cats.” My go-tos are wool felt balls, springs, and those automatic spinning toys. Keeps them busy without the zoomies lol.

You can find tons without catnip. I usually make my own too — just some paper balls, a shoelace, or a cardboard box. My cats love the chase more than the scent anyway.

Yes, definitely. My cat’s allergic to catnip (weird, right?), so I switched to silvervine-free, catnip-free toys. Check out brands like Yeowww! and Petstages — some of their lines are catnip-free if you read the fine print.

Oh, totally! Not every toy needs to have catnip. Think puzzle feeders, treat balls, or wand toys. The best part? You can rotate them and your cat won’t get desensitized like they do with catnip toys.

Yup. Try interactive electronic toys or laser toys. None of them use catnip and cats usually go crazy for them. Mine could chase the laser dot for hours if I let him
