You’re not alone! I prefer no-catnip toys too because the smell gives me a headache. Wool balls, wand teasers, and even ping pong balls work great. Sometimes the simplest toys are the biggest hits.

Definitely possible. Just look for “organic wool,” “natural fiber,” or “interactive” toys — they rarely include catnip. My kitten loves chasing soft hair ties (supervised, of course) and paper crinkle tunnels. No catnip needed!

Oh absolutely. Not every cat toy has catnip, promise. I’ve had cats for 20+ years and a few of mine actually hate the smell. Feather teasers, crinkle tunnels, or simple pom-poms are great. Look for “catnip-free” on the tag — it’s becoming pretty common now.

LOL same, my cat acts like she’s possessed when she smells catnip. I stick to toys that don’t cause chaos — laser pointer, feather wand, even old hair ties (supervised, of course). No catnip, no drama, no 3 a.m. zoomies.

Yes, there are plenty! Try brands like Petstages, Doc & Phoebe, or SmartyKat. They actually label catnip-free toys clearly. Also, look into “silvervine” alternatives if you want something mildly stimulating but not as strong.
