One rainy afternoon, I didn’t have money for fancy toys, and my cat, Coco, was restless. I crumpled up a piece of paper into a ball and tossed it across the floor. To my surprise, Coco went wild—chasing, pouncing, and carrying it in her mouth like prey. Later, I tied a piece of yarn to a stick, and suddenly we had a fishing pole game. She leapt through the air, her eyes shining with excitement. That’s when I realized cats don’t need expensive catnip toys to be happy. Sometimes, the simplest DIY creations—the kind that cost nothing—bring the most joy, and the playtime bond becomes priceless.
