Do Ragdoll cats actually play with toys or are they too lazy?

So, I keep hearing Ragdolls are these super chill, couch-potato cats — and honestly, mine fits that description perfectly. He’ll paw at something for 10 seconds and then just flop over. Is this just their personality or am I buying the wrong toys? Curious if other Ragdoll owners deal with this or if I just need to find the right type of toy.
