Are laser toys safe and effective for Bengal cats?

I use an automatic laser toy when I’m working from home, and it’s been a lifesaver. My Bengal, Max, chases it around the room for 10 minutes straight and then chills out. I just make sure the sessions aren’t too long and that the beam is never pointed near his eyes. Done carefully, it’s a fun and safe way to burn off Bengal energy.
